During the past two years, our education efforts in Haiti have been hampered by political upheaval and the national shut down it caused, as well as by the shelter in place order related to the coronavirus outbreak. As a result, we are working diligently to develop an e-learning system to allow us to continue to educate our high school students. We have established open-air classrooms equipped with the appropriate technology to teach online at both Cambry and at our largest transition home. Our investment includes Wi-Fi systems, solar power systems, laptops, iPads, charging cabinets, secured storage etc. Two months into the effort, we are encouraged by the progress to date and working to consistently improve the system.
